Dietmar Esser– The person behind Eurotrailer

Welcome to the Eurotrailer website. My name is Dietmar Esser, and I am pleased to give you an insight into my professional career and my passion for the industry.

With over 30 years of experience in the industry and a career characterized by dedication and expertise, I am proud to lead Eurotrailer as the owner. My professional journey began in 1980 with an apprenticeship as a fitter at RWE Fortuna, followed by further training as an industrial clerk in 1990. This solid training laid the foundation for a successful career in spare parts management and vehicle trading.

My professional journey took me through several stations, starting as a spare parts salesman at Ackermann-Fruehauf in Kerpen-Sindorf, where I was able to gain my first valuable experience in customer contact and sales. In the following years, I took on responsibility for the efficient management and optimization of the spare parts department as spare parts manager at General Trailers Deutschland GmbH.

I was able to further develop my skills at Weka Fahrzeugbau in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. Initially as the person responsible for the spare parts trade and later as purchasing manager, I made a significant contribution to optimizing the purchasing processes and successfully managing the department. This experience sharpened my skills in process optimization and strategic management.

In 2008, I took on the role of Trade Representative at Eurotrailer Handelsgesellschaft mbH, where I focused on building and maintaining a dealer network for the Fruehauf and Benalu brands. This position enabled me to build up valuable networks and expand my expertise in the field of new and used vehicles and spare parts.

Founding and taking over Eurotrailer was the next logical step on my career path. Here I use my extensive experience and my commitment to excellent service to offer our customers tailor-made solutions. My goal with Eurotrailer is not only to provide high quality products and services, but also to build trusting relationships with our customers.
